Diagnostic Retinal Imaging
About Diagnostic Retinal Imaging
Diagnostic Retinal imagery enables us to photograph the back of your eyes to assess the retina, blood vessels and optic nerve. This helps in obtaining an overall health check, specifically the early detection of disease that can affect your vision, including macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetes and hypertension.
How Diagnostic Retinal Imaging Works
This test is non-invasive and pain free. A digital image is easily taken of your eyes and uploaded onto a computer to interpret and record almost instantly. The electronic copy is stored by the optometrist allowing us to compare the findings at your next visit.
