Scott Dennett
Principal Optometrist
Scott graduated with honours from the University of New South Wales in 1993 and completed a Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics in 2017. He is a highly skilled and experienced Optometrist with a keen interest in eye health, ocular therapeutics, children's vision and low vision.
Scott opened Midwest Optical with wife Narelle in 1998. They are parents to two adult sons Zac and Ryan, and dog Hugo. When not at work, Scott enjoys cycling, triathlon, watching his beloved Sydney Swans, travel and the outdoors.
Elizabeth Henley
Optometrist
Elizabeth (Lizzie) Henley is a highly skilled and compassionate Optometrist who graduated in 2020 with distinction from Deakin University. At Midwest Optical, Lizzie has a special interest in myopia management, specialty contact lenses, ocular therapeutics and eye health, ensuring that each patient receives tailored care based on their unique needs. Lizzie is also a Certified Optometrist through the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).
When not at work Lizzie enjoys cooking, gaming and the outdoors with her husband and dog.
Tess Gurski-Howell
Optical Consultant
As an optical consultant, Tess loves helping patients express their personality through the frames they select. When not at work she enjoys training in the gym, baking sweet treats and spending time in the sunshine with her partner and two fur babies.
Kristie De Luca
Optical Consultant
Kristie has over 30 years of retail experience and thoroughly enjoys the optical industry where she can assist customers in selecting the right product for their individual needs. Outside of work Kristie loves spending time with her husband Sam, adult children Joseph & Zoe, family and friends. She enjoys entertaining, cooking and travelling whenever possible and is a proud pet lover of a dog and two Maine Coon cats.
Maritess Vallejo
Optical Consultant
Maritess worked as an Optometrist in the Phillipines for 14 years before moving to Australia in 2009. Maritess loves working in the optical industry in Australia and is highly committed to assisting patients through every step of their customer experience. Outside of work, Maritess Ioves spending time with her husband, travelling, walking, dancing and reading.
Rebecca Atkinson
Optical Consultant
Rebecca has several decades of customer service experience and really enjoys seeing so many friendly Geraldton faces in her role with Midwest Optical. Outside of work she loves spending time with her husband, four sons, family and friends. Bec also enjoys gardening, fishing, time with her dogs and trying her hand at pottery.
